Union Transparency Reforms

On Friday, December 20, 2002, the U.S. Department of Labor announced its intention to revise the annual reporting forms for labor unions.  The paper below provides analysis of the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA) and shows how current Department of Labor regulations fail to accomplish the objectives of the LMRDA.
